You know in 2.4. version is a bug or what I think in boards.php or were you need put this code:

$max_length = 50;
$text = $_POST['text'];
$text = preg_replace('/(S{' . $max_length . '})/', '1 ', $text);

And the word is limited :)

The final version of 2.4 (released) fixes it. Though there is no point in using that when you can just do:

$subject = substr(addslashes($_POST['subject'],0,30));

Just download v2.4 from sourceforge and it is fixed. :)
